Welcome back to a new season of tennis. Plans for the new entrance to the club rooms are now well underway. Work will begin once funds have been secured.  Many thanks to those who supported the trivial pursuit evening. $3,000 was raised to go towards this project.

 

LPTC Indoor Tournament 8th August 6.30pm tennis for the competitive or social player.  $25.00 player entry $10.00 non player includes dinner, cash bar available. Prizes and raffles.

 

Junior and Senior Interclub Registration Sunday 17th 10.00am-1.00pm all members wanting to play interclub for the upcoming season need to register. Any junior who has not played interclub before will need to trial for team placement.  For those keen for a hit bring your racquet along. If you are unable to make it to registration you need to contact Joanne or Mike.  Interclub teams need to be registered by late August. Your help in making our jobs easier is essential. Working Bee Sunday 24th August 10.00am the club house and the courts need a tidy up. The inside of the club house needs a spring clean, weeding, rubbish removal. If you have any equipment to help with these jobs please bring it along and join in. Morning tea will be provided to all helpers. 

 

Open Day Sunday 31st August 1.00pm-3.00pm bring along your family and friends. This has proved to be a great way to encourage new members to our club. Sausage sizzle, spot prizes and tennis.

 

Wednesday Morning Summer Opening Wednesday 3rd September 9.30am

Fun tournament all welcome

Season Opening Tournament for all Sunday 7th September 10.00am start.  All members and friends young and old are invited to a fun doubles tournament. No entry fee. Sausage sizzle and drinks for sale.  Come alone or with a partner.

Junior Opening Day 13th September

Tiny Tennis             8.30-9.30          4-7yrs

Junior Netters       9.30-10.30         8-10yrs

Racqueteers           10.30-11.30        11yrs plus                                                                                  These Saturday morning sessions offer coaching to beginners and not interclub players.

 

Club Uniforms will be available from the club on registration and open days. Hats are also now available.       Shirts $40.00         Hats $15.00
