| Promoting Junior tennis |
Lake Pupuke Tennis Club is keen to promote Junior tennis and to encourage children from the nearby schools and community to engage in the sport. The club caters for players at all levels.
The club coach promotes the Grasshopper programme in local schools. This is an initiative funded by and supported by SPARC and Tennis North Harbour.
As juniors rise through the age groups and their skills develop the club promotes those junior players with the skills and who are interested to play in senior inteclub teams. |

During the year the Club coach organises tournaments for juniors.
Social events are also organised for junior club members. |

| Junior Interclub |
In the 2007 - 2008 season the club entered 15 teams in Tennis North Harbour junior age group interclub competitions.
The club is expecting to enter as many teams this year.
Teams are currently being entered into Tennis North Harbour age group competitions for the 2008 - 2009 seson. |

| Junior Coaching |
The club offers free coaching to all junior players. The younger players receive coaching on Saturday mornings.
Interclub players are coached one evening during the week. Coaching times for this years teams will be advised soon. |
